Welcome to StatRankings, LLC ("StatRankings", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, products, services, data tools, and related applications made available by StatRankings (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service
1.1 Personal and Permitted Use
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and subject to these Terms. Any commercial use of the Service or the data, charts, rankings, or tools provided by StatRankings requires a separate written agreement with us.
1.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, store, resell, license, distribute, or display any part of the Service or its content without written authorization;
  • Use scraping tools, bots, spiders, or automated data extraction methods;
  • Ingest StatRankings data into machine learning, AI models, LLMs, or training sets, whether for commercial or academic purposes;
  • Circumvent access restrictions, security protocols, or rate limits;
  • Reverse engineer or interfere with the operation of the Service;
  • Use our platform in connection with illegal activity or content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or violates intellectual property or privacy rights.

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your account and legal action.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain its accuracy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. We may terminate or suspend your account if we reasonably suspect false information or violation of these Terms.

3. Intellectual Property
3.1 Ownership
All content and intellectual property on the Service, including but not limited to statistical models, rankings, tools, code, charts, logos, and brand features (“StatRankings Content”), is the sole property of StatRankings or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
3.2 Limited License
You may download or share limited excerpts from public-facing StatRankings content for non-commercial personal use or educational commentary, provided proper attribution is given and no alterations are made. For commercial API access or data licensing, contact .
4. Third-Party Links & Content

The Service may include links to third-party sites or tools. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of third-party content and are not liable for any damages or losses caused by them. Your use of third-party tools or data via our platform is entirely at your own risk and subject to their terms.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in abuse of the platform.

Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately, and you must cease use and destroy any downloaded content from StatRankings.

6. Warrant Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” STATRANKINGS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES ABOUT THE OUTCOME OF ANY SPORTS WAGERING, FANTASY PERFORMANCE, OR ANALYTICAL USE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STATRANKINGS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.

8. Data Rights & AI Use Restriction

You may not:

  • Ingest StatRankings data into any AI or LLM model (e.g., GPT, Claude, Bard);
  • Use our content in training sets for ML/AI purposes;
  • Generate derivative outputs or tools based on StatRankings Content without our express written consent.

Violation of this clause may result in liquidated damages of $5,000 per day per instance, in addition to actual damages and legal relief.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StatRankings, its owners, affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

11. Governing Laws & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. All disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and you consent to such jurisdiction.

12. General Provisions
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and StatRankings.
  • Severability: If any part is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
