What Is Standard-Down RB Opportunity Share?
Standard-Down RB Opportunity Share is the percentage of a team's carries and targets on standard downs (first down, second and 7 or fewer, third or fourth and 4 or fewer) that went to a running back. Opportunities are carries plus targets; sacks, kneels and spiked passes are not counted, and the team total includes every carry and target the offense had, quarterback runs included.
