Terms of Service
Welcome to StatRankings, LLC ("StatRankings," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, products, services, data tools, and related applications made available by StatRankings (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Except as expressly permitted in Section 14 (NFL Stats Archive Downloads), you agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, store, resell, license, distribute, or display any part of the Service or its content without written authorization;
- Use scraping tools, bots, spiders, or automated data extraction methods;
- Use StatRankings data to train, fine-tune, or build training sets for machine learning or AI models (including LLMs), whether for commercial or academic purposes;
- Circumvent access restrictions, security protocols, or rate limits;
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the operation of the Service;
- Use our platform in connection with illegal activity or content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or violates intellectual property or privacy rights.
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your account and legal action.
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain its accuracy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. We may terminate or suspend your account if we reasonably suspect false information or violation of these Terms.
The Service may include links to third-party sites or tools. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of third-party content and are not liable for any damages or losses caused by them. Your use of third-party tools or data via our platform is entirely at your own risk and subject to their terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in abuse of the platform.
Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately, and you must cease use and destroy any downloaded content from StatRankings.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” STATRANKINGS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES ABOUT THE OUTCOME OF ANY SPORTS WAGERING, FANTASY PERFORMANCE, OR ANALYTICAL USE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STATRANKINGS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.
Except as expressly permitted in Section 14 (NFL Stats Archive Downloads), you may not:
- Use StatRankings data to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning or AI model, including LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini), or include it in any training set;
- Feed StatRankings data into, or use it to power, any other product, service, tool, or dataset, or generate derivative outputs or tools based on StatRankings Content, without our express written consent.
Personal AI assistants. Subscribers may use their own AI assistant, including through the StatRankings MCP connector, to query, read, and analyze StatRankings data for their own personal, non-commercial analysis. Data retrieved this way remains subject to these Terms: it may not be redistributed, republished, used commercially, or used for model training.
Violation of this clause may result in liquidated damages of $5,000 per day per instance, in addition to actual damages and legal relief.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StatRankings, its owners, affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. All disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and you consent to such jurisdiction.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and StatRankings.
- Severability: If any part is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our written consent.

StatRankings offers a paid NFL Stats Archive add-on that allows eligible subscribers to download StatRankings statistics in file format (e.g., CSV) for their own use. NFL Stats Archive delivers the same statistical content you already access on the Service, provided as downloadable files for your convenience.
Your use of downloaded data remains subject to all other provisions of these Terms. You may not:
- Use the downloaded data in any business or commercial capacity;
- Resell, redistribute, republish, sublicense, or share the data, or any file derived from it, in any capacity;
- Provide the data, in whole or in part, to any third party, company, employer, or client;
- Use the data to build, train, or power any commercial product, service, or publicly available tool.
