What is WR/CB+?

Every qualified WR against his upcoming opponent's projected primary defender, ranked by a weekly matchup score. The base of that score is 75% this week's PPR projection and 25% the WR's target-efficiency line (once he clears a pooled-target minimum); that base is then adjusted by three multipliers -- matchup (up to ±10%, from how well the primary defender's coverage fits the WR, his alignment, and how much the defense funnels targets his way), surge (up to +5%, from projected targets above his per-game average) and role (up to ±7.5%, from his first-read share, targets-per-route and red-zone target share). The Grade column shows each WR's score as a share of the best score on the slate, so the top matchup always grades 100. The primary defender is picked by alignment mirroring: a WR's left-wide rate is matched against the opponent CB with the most snaps at right cornerback, and so on for right-wide and slot. One spot per receiver on a team, so teammates are never mirrored onto the same defender.
