What Is Average Depth of Target Allowed?
Average depth of target (aDOT) is the average number of yards past the line of scrimmage a team's passes travel in the air, across the attempts with a charted air-yards value. Higher means a more vertical passing game. The Allowed page ranks defenses on what opposing passing games did against them, lowest first. Only FBS teams are ranked.
