What Is Stacked Box Rate?
Stacked Box Rate is the percentage of a running back's carries that come against a stacked box -- a stacked box is eight or more defenders in the box at the snap. It completes the Stacked Box family alongside Stacked Box Yards (total production against loaded fronts) and Stacked Box Yards Per Carry (efficiency against them) by adding the workload-context piece: how often a back actually faces that resistance in the first place, rather than just how well he performs when he does.
