What Is Team Slot WR Target Rate?
Team slot WR target rate is the percentage of an offense's slot routes that ended with a pass thrown inside. Dividing by routes rather than by pass attempts is what separates intent from opportunity: a team can run a lot of slot routes without actually throwing there, and only this board can tell the difference. It uses the same definition as the receiver and coverage boards, so an offense's slot target rate, a receiver's, and the rate a defender allows are all directly comparable.
