What Are Slot WR Receptions Allowed?

Slot WR receptions allowed counts the catches a defense conceded to wide receivers lined up in the slot. Because inside routes are shorter and thrown against softer coverage, completion rates on slot targets are high across the league, and the gap between a defense's slot targets allowed and slot receptions allowed is a decent read on whether its nickel is actually contesting anything. Read alongside Slot FP/Route Allowed, which accounts for what those catches were worth rather than only how many there were.
