What Is Left-Aligned WR FP/Route Allowed?
Left-Aligned WR FP/Route allowed is the half-PPR fantasy points a defense conceded to receivers on the OFFENSE's left -- the defense's own right side of the field -- divided by the routes it defended there. This is the matchup number: it folds volume, catch rate, yardage and touchdowns into one figure and controls for how much left-side work a defense actually faced, which is what makes it usable for start-sit decisions rather than only for describing a season after the fact. Scoring is 0.5 points per reception, 0.1 per receiving yard, and 6 per touchdown.
