What Are Defensive QB Pressures?

Defensive QB pressures counts the pass plays on which a team's defense put the opposing quarterback under pressure. Raw pressure counts track pass rush volume: comparing them against defensive QB dropbacks (via pressure rate) shows whether a defense's total comes from winning rushes or simply from facing heavy passing volume.
