What Is Team Left-Aligned WR Target Rate?
Team left-aligned WR target rate is the percentage of an offense's left-side routes that ended with a pass thrown that way. Dividing by routes from that side rather than by total pass attempts is what separates intent from opportunity: a team can run a lot of left-side routes without actually throwing there, and only this board can tell the difference. It uses the same definition as the receiver and coverage boards, so an offense's rate here, a receiver's, and the rate a defender allows are all directly comparable. Left and right are derived from the charted formation order and are independent of the Slot & Perimeter Offense+ split.
