What Are Left-Aligned WR Receptions Allowed?
Left-aligned WR receptions allowed counts the catches a defense conceded to wide receivers lined up on the OFFENSE's left -- the defense's own right side of the field. The gap between a defense's left-aligned targets allowed and left-aligned receptions allowed is a decent read on whether that side is actually contesting throws or merely present for them. Read alongside Left-Aligned FP/Route Allowed, which accounts for what those catches were worth rather than only how many there were.
