Slot WR FP/Route allowed is the half-PPR fantasy points a defense conceded to slot receivers divided by the slot routes it defended. This is the matchup number: it folds volume, catch rate, yardage and touchdowns into one figure and controls for how much slot work a defense actually faced, which is what makes it usable for start-sit decisions rather than only for describing a season after the fact. Scoring is 0.5 points per reception, 0.1 per receiving yard, and 6 per touchdown. Points conceded to backfield and in-line alignments appear on neither this board nor the perimeter one.
